Fashion is correct, perfume simply means there is a higher concentration of oil while colognes have less (the price often reflects this as well; chanel 110 for perfume or 85 for toilette). The strength does NOT deem masculinity or femininity.





Best colognes in India would be the Egyptian Oils! They also last the longest.





How to apply:


Spray the scent in areas that produce the most heat (ie the inside of your elbows and behind your ears.) If you wish to spray your wrists (which is very common) DO NOT rub your wrists together. This bruises the scent which will hinder the length of time it will remain on your body.

Cologne is for men and perfume is for women. If you are a man you should apply on chest and neck area. But a women can apply on the neck or sometimes where ever they want some one to smell.

The differences are simply a matter of the amount or concentration of oils in the fragrance. These oils are called ';juice.'; The highest concentration of ';juice'; is in perfume (or parfum). Next would be Eau de Parfum, then Eau de Toilette, and finally Eau de Cologne.





Actually, Eau de Toilette and Eau de Cologne are generally interchangeable, particularly in Men's fragrances. After Shave has the least amount of oils. The higher the concentration of ';juice'; the longer your fragrance will last, and the less you need to apply.

yes, cologne is for men. perfume is for women. i think men should spray it on the chest area, just all over. women usually like to dab some behind their ears, neck, wrist, etc.
