Does perfume last longer in the fridge?

I was told that perfume does in fact go bad, but keeping it at a colder temperature will reserve its true scent. Is this accurate?Does perfume last longer in the fridge?
Yes. As long as it is in the original box and away from light as well. I think it has to be a certain temperature control though...So you might want to use one of those tiny fridges just for perfume. Oh, I just found this is FAQ's on the frag. foundations site.

Yes, but only colognes and toilet waters. Perfumes should not be exposed to extreme cold or heat because either may upset its delicate balance.
