Why do some people insist on wearing excessive perfume/cologne?
Do they not understand that it bothers people? And it is almost too much to handle when we have a cold, sinus infection, allergies, and/or asthma. Several years a woman I was sitting next to during a meeting told me that my perfume was bothering her, and I thanked her for saying something, apologized for the offense, and immediately left the room to wash it off. I was not upset about it because she was polite and so am I. I would not have known unless she told me, and I have not made that mistake again.

If one smell is constantly under your nose you grow accustamed to it. So when you first spray it you can smell it, but after awhile you are used to it so you block it out.

all of britney's are good (although it took me a while to come around to Curious... its a little musky) but both of the Fantasy ones are really good, they have a sweet cotton-candy kind of smell. I love them :)
Jessica Simpson's Fancy is the best, Paris Hilton's is the worst. It is so bad it gave me a sneezing fit for about 5 minutes.

Will perfume and air freshner harm my rats?
I was wondering if strong smells like perfume, air freshner, febreze, etc. would harm rats if they were constantly exposed to it? I plan on keeping them in my bedroom, but I spray perfume every morning and have a glade plug-in that is always producing a nice aroma. If these scents will harm my ratties, what illness could they possibly cause?

Every rat outside of a lab has a bacterium called mycoplasma ( http://ratguide.com/health/bacteria/myco鈥?/a> ), but not every rat gets sick from it. Myco is activated by stress, drafts, dust (both house dust and the kind you get from the wrong type of bedding), phenols (the ';natural'; chemicals that make cedar and pine shavings smell so nice), strong smells like perfume, cologne, etc., and cigarette smoke.
If you MUST use perfume, move the rats to another room as far away from the perfume as possible, and make sure you never wear/use it around the rats. Even then, you're running quite a risk. I collect perfume, lol, so I know some really great ones. Here is my top 5: (Brand name then perfume name.)
1. Escada, Summer Kiss. It smells like citrus, and is a really fun and flirty perfume to wear, but also classy.
2. Brittney Spears, Fantasy. It smells like cake, need I say more. =] The bottle is also very pretty.
3. Lancome, Miracle. It is spicy but subtle, and it makes you seem fresh.
4. Estee Lauder, Beyond Paradise. I wore this perfume to my graduation. I made me feel happy and confident, since I was one of the two valedictorian speakers. =]
5. Juicy Coutoure, Juicy. I can't get enough of this perfume. It will make you want to smell yourself all day.

go to your local bodyshop. they have awesome perfume oils in a million different scents. The best one would be peach or vanilla. They stay on for ages and you dont need much so it lasts for ages, and theyre cheap so you can get a few different ones.
Or, try red delicious by dkny. It smells exactly like raspberries and strawberries. It stay on for ages aswell. but it really depends on what you like.
If your after a 'sophisticated' one, try christina aguilera, escada ibizia hippie, vera wang princess or SJP lovely. They're really feminine, sophisticated and stay on for a while.

I collect perfume, lol, so I know some really great ones. Here is my top 5: (Brand name then perfume name.)
1. Escada, Summer Kiss. It smells like citrus, and is a really fun and flirty perfume to wear, but also classy.
2. Brittney Spears, Fantasy. It smells like cake, need I say more. =] The bottle is also very pretty.
3. Lancome, Miracle. It is spicy but subtle, and it makes you seem fresh.
4. Estee Lauder, Beyond Paradise. I wore this perfume to my graduation. I made me feel happy and confident, since I was one of the two valedictorian speakers. =]
5. Juicy Coutoure, Juicy. I can't get enough of this perfume. It will make you want to smell yourself all day.

go to your local bodyshop. they have awesome perfume oils in a million different scents. The best one would be peach or vanilla. They stay on for ages and you dont need much so it lasts for ages, and theyre cheap so you can get a few different ones.
Or, try red delicious by dkny. It smells exactly like raspberries and strawberries. It stay on for ages aswell. but it really depends on what you like.
If your after a 'sophisticated' one, try christina aguilera, escada ibizia hippie, vera wang princess or SJP lovely. They're really feminine, sophisticated and stay on for a while.

Perfumes/cologne DO NOT smell the same in the bottle as they smell on someone. It would depend on YOUR body chemistry and how it mixes with the perfume/cologne. You could end up smelling like a skunk. Be very careful at what you pick. I thought this is common knowledge among women.
viva la juicy by jucie counture is great it is fruity and sweet but not overwhelming and pink sugar by aqualina smells really good like cotten candy but a little spicy i got it 4 my friends birthday and its really affordable too
totally dont know about any of those but burberry brit sheer is nice and light and sweet. as well as vera wang princess and vera wang flower princess. and pink sugar!

Yes. As long as it is in the original box and away from light as well. I think it has to be a certain temperature control though...So you might want to use one of those tiny fridges just for perfume. Oh, I just found this is FAQ's on the frag. foundations site.

How to use DKNY Be delicious small perfume??
i just received a small bottle of this for my christmas, and have no idea how to get the perfume to spray out of the bottle.. sounds mad but theres no hole on the side for it to spray out of. i know the larger bottles have this as i have tried it in the past.

Alergic to certain perfumes?
Ok another alergy question from me, as this is something that often concerns me.
I've found myself by bad luck that i'm fairly alergic to SOME perfumes, i'm not sure however what it is in those perfumed i'm alergic to.
Basically they cause my air ways to tighten up so it becomes extremely difficult to breath. First time it happened it kinda scared me, (that was about 3 years ago) just got a wiff of, i think it was a perfumed bodyspray (womens one) and i went extremely tight chested.
Even after getting away from the stuff, i still find myself extremely tight chested for a while, worst case was when someboy pretty much sprayed some perfume right infront of me, i had to go outside just so i was able to breath. (the more i breath the stuff in, the tighter my chest gets)
One place i always get this feeling is when i go past one of the ';body shop'; stores, something they use in a lot of their products seems to trigger it which is odd. They claim they use all natural ingrediants, butAlergic to certain perfumes?

But the Body Shop stuff definitely gives me a reaction with runny nose and chest tightening. Also, I got a job where they spritzed a heavy room air freshener in my area and it gave me asthma and sore throats, I could barely breathe. They had to take it out or I would have had to quit. It is definitely an allergic reaction to perfumes, and the only thing I can do is try to be very careful about being exposed to them. A dermatologist can patch test you for perfume allergies if you want to check into that. But, in the end, the only thing you can do is avoid it as much as you can. (I don't think you have to have asthma to be allergic to fragrances).

I asked a similar question the other day. I have no idea until this weekend when I can test Miss Dior if it is any good. I do remember Coco by Chanel being very nice, but as I use Coco Mademoiselle would they be too similar. What is the difference between Miss Dior and Miss Dior Cherie?

You should try online stores. Yes, you will have to pay shipping and handling, but you dont have to search very hard. If you want a store, I am pretty sure that TJ Maxx has some Ralph Lauren perfumes, but I am not 100% sure. Hope I could help!

Why do certain perfumes give me a runny nose?
I've noticed that certain perfumes give me a runny nose. Usually the cheap ones. I found one that Mark sells and I really liked it but every time I use some my nose runs. I used to use one that was the eau de parfum that didn't really bother me. Why would some bother me and others not? Are there certain chemicals that the cheap stuff has in it that is more likely to bother people? Does anyone else have this problem? Spray the scent in areas that produce the most heat (ie the inside of your elbows and behind your ears.) If you wish to spray your wrists (which is very common) DO NOT rub your wrists together. This bruises the scent which will hinder the length of time it will remain on your body.

I find that if a Woman wears one of three perfumes near me, I am virtually loosing control
At Computer College, I had a teacher who wore some perfume and I was a wreck, but I asked some of the other guys, and was told by some they were also affected, when I asked her what it was she said it was 鈥楥erruti鈥?I鈥檝e since found out about the amount of Pheromones it is laced with, there are two others that affect me even more, one is 鈥楥ool Water鈥?its like Viagra in gas form. Don鈥檛 get me wrong I love it on my own woman.
