Perfumes from the last few years typically come in a spray bottle so I can understand why you would have trouble. It is mostly pure perfumes that would be in an open top bottle. Try Chanel?
If not you could alwasy buy a perfume bottle on its own and fill it with a nice fragrance?
You can get beautiful bottles from most jewellry and gift shops that aren't too expensive. If you want a fragrance to put in it make sure it is one with an easy to remove lid.

Work Appropriate perfumes im lost some help would really be appreciated?
Ok im going in for a job interview i read online that wear a light scent or no perfume at all bc the boss could be allergic. I wanna go with a light scent bc that way i can weed out any potential employer that is allergic(im young i have that option lol. Not just cos im inconsiderate but because if i dont wear any to the interview and wear a light scent to work everyday there will be a problem so id rather them not hire me at all if wearing perfume is gonna be an issue.
Now im not talking about BATHING in perfume thats gross im talking one dab(on the wrist then rub wrist on your neck). Most of my scents are light and not heavy at least thats what the perfume counter lady told me lol.
Anywho im gonna name some scents out of the ones i name which one should i wear thats work appropriate

Ewwwww. Sorry, but I dislike perfume very much. Most of it has Orris Root in it, and I'm extremely allergic. I get asthmatic to nearly the point of passing out. It's an assault on my breathing worse than any cigarette ever was, and I avoid it. I work in a healthcare environment and it is not allowed because it is so harmful to some people especially including our pediatric patients.
I don't find a scent necessary for anyone who is clean and well groomed, but a softly scented shower gel usually doesn't make people choke since there is no Orris Root in them. I use those from time to time if I know I won't be around anyone the scent will bother.
wow... i totally have pretty much all of them in my bathroom right now... except the Curious and Paris Hilton just because i dont like them. haha
anyways... my favs are that Deborah (i'm from Italy so i had to! lol) uhm... i also wear the Guess alot. and my friend gave me a bunch of this Rue 21 stuff that smells AMAZING!! lol
i have never been to Rue 21 though.. uhmmm yeah those and oh! the Coach one is pretty good too.

How many perfumes allowed on check in luggage..?
hi guys ill be travelling to usa from philippines..and i have like 7 bottles of perfume which some are 75ml (2.5 fl oz) and some are 100 ml ..those are my collection and since moving to the usa i want to bring them all with me....now my question is do they have limits of how many bottles of perfume i can put in my check in luggage?

I am in the market for a new scent. My skin tone is tan and so musky scents smell better on me than fruity or floral ones,as those tend to fade the fastest on me. I am currently debating between armani diamonds, diamonds intense, cashmere mist and the original michael kors perfume ( its a golden tan-ish color). Which one do you guys think smells the best? I'm not really sure if it is seasonal for Fall or Winter, but I almost always wear ';Miss Dior Cherie'; and all my friends always compliment me on how good I smell, haha. I don't think of any fruity florals as that chic, so I those three are not. Miss dior cherie is a fruity floral, and heavy on the strawberry. Test only 3 perfumes at a time, first on paper and then the ones you love on skin. Your nose will clog with any more than that. Goodluck.

And consumer affairs prolly doesnt care about little things like that..
But if anyone knows personally if those are fake or stolen real, id like to know...

Being a lover of perfumes, I have tons of them and bodysprays. I also have lots of frgrant lotions and bodywashes as well. Some of them I have had 2 years or longer though. I try to use a different one every day but since I have so many (and I mean a lot!) I can't always get to them all. I was wondering, since I saw no exp date on any of the bottles, do they ever go bad, or is there a time you should stop using them and throw them out? lotions begin to get a bit of a ';tinny'; smell after about 5-10 years if they're not great quality. If it's sun tan lotion, yes, they do have expiration dates.
Two years definitely isn't long enough to expire, especially for perfumes!
When my grandma died, my mom got a bottle of my grandmas perfume from WWI, and it still smelled really nice.
The worst thing that can happen is it will gain a sort of alcohol smell (which happens a lot after a few years with cheaper perfumes, especially in knock-off versions of perfumes), or that the smell will just start to fade.

When the smell starts to ';change'; like go more ';rank'; or different, it's time to toss the product out. Also if the consistency of the product changes, like it separates or changes color, toss out asap!! Otherwise I don't see any reason why you can't keep using the product!! I am surprised that they don't put an expiration date, however, to get you to toss the product and replace it, thus buying a new one and putting more money and profit into the product maker's pockets!!

I ,looked, this information up, and i also talked, to some of my friends, and managers from different stores, that i know pretty good,,, take care. peace..
I heard that perfume is actually only good for a year or two- I don't know what it can do to you after that. As for lotions, they do get rancid. Rancid lotion smells really bad. It still does it's job (though not as well), but it STINKS!!!!! Really nasty. Some only have a shelf- life of about a year, though some stay good MUCH longer. They sometimes will also get runny and gross. As long as they don't smell bad, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm not even sure about bodywash, though. I've never actually seen bodywash or shampoo go rancid or runny, although after enough time, I'm sure they could.

lotions begin to get a bit of a ';tinny'; smell after about 5-10 years if they're not great quality. If it's sun tan lotion, yes, they do have expiration dates.
Two years definitely isn't long enough to expire, especially for perfumes!
When my grandma died, my mom got a bottle of my grandmas perfume from WWI, and it still smelled really nice.
The worst thing that can happen is it will gain a sort of alcohol smell (which happens a lot after a few years with cheaper perfumes, especially in knock-off versions of perfumes), or that the smell will just start to fade.

When the smell starts to ';change'; like go more ';rank'; or different, it's time to toss the product out. Also if the consistency of the product changes, like it separates or changes color, toss out asap!! Otherwise I don't see any reason why you can't keep using the product!! I am surprised that they don't put an expiration date, however, to get you to toss the product and replace it, thus buying a new one and putting more money and profit into the product maker's pockets!!

Citrus smelling perfumes? Help!?
Hi! Im looking for a summery smelling perfume and need some help! I really want something which is citrus based: lemon, lime, grapefruit etc.
I have loads of fruity fragrances such as DNKY, CKone summer and escada sunset heat, but none of them are 'zesty' enough!
Can anyone advise me of a nice, summery citrus scent?

hmmm not sure if you have bath and body works over there but i got this perfume last summer and it was in an orange glass bottle and i think the name of it was breathe and the scent was delight....i'm pretty sure thats right it smells soooo freakin good and just smells of summer! Enjoy!
You should try Jo Malone. She does a whole range of perfumes which are citrus scented and they are beautiful. Only thing is they are quite pricey. Have never bought one mysef but I like to go into the shop for a sneaky spray as I walk past. Think there is a website too if you just google it.
Try Tommy Bahama Set Sail St. Barts. It is very limey smelling, like a margarita. It was a bit too much for me, even though I like cirtus type scents.
Victoria has creams, body washes, perfumes and more with a series of lovely scents! I use it, its such as citrus smelling product!

In Dubai - Perfumes & Prices?
In Dubai, in century mall i found an outlet selling branded perfumes for a discounted price (discounted in the sense a reduction in price around 60 - 70 dhs) those are the normal prices they selll if for compared to paris gallery , debenhams, areej... for eg: lacoste touch of pink 90ml would be priced at 274 dhs(aed) in paris gallery and in this outlet i could get it for 194 dhs(aed)..

First of all, please forgive my flagrant approach to the topic. This topic specifically designed to identify the top ten perfumes for men, that drive women crazy.
Men are absolutely brute and we don't know anything about finesse and charm. What we think is sexy isn't always so. Often, we have such a bad body odor or even if we use perfumes such a bad taste in perfumes, that make us repulsive to any women. So please enlist the names of any and all perfumes your men have worn in the past that have gotten you instinctively wet. Give us a chance to woo you better. An honest reply would really help us.

Sensitivity to perfumes and soaps in in my ';area';?
I have had this problem for awhile now. My ';area'; (from front to back) has been very sensitive to soaps and perfumes, and because of it, I don't feel like I am washing myself well enough. If I leave soap in my ';area'; (again, anywhere from front to back) for more than a few seconds in the shower it starts to burn. If there is even the smallest trace of soap left when I get out of the shower it burns. If I try to put baby powder or anything else with perfumes, it makes me want to cry it hurts so bad. I am not sensitive to these things on any other part of my body, including my face... not like I put baby powder on my face lol but you get the point.
What is up with this extreme sensitivity? I can't take it any longer.Sensitivity to perfumes and soaps in in my ';area';?
This isn't a problem that you have but something that could effect any woman, your vulva is made up of mucosa which is similar to skin only without the top protective layer so it is more sensitive and more likely to be irritated by chemicals - bear in mind too that many commercial brand toiletries contain ingredients such as sodium lauryl sulfate which are skin irritants (check the ingredients on the products you use and you will probably see this ingredient as well as other potentially irritating ingredients) - soaps will also dry the mucosa which can cause irritation and small splits in the surface leading to a burning sensation.
Your vagina should NEVER be put into contact with anything scented, ideally you should only ever use water as anything else could potentially cause infections. Your vagina is self-cleaning, the function of discharge is to flush out excess bacteria and dirt as well as to keep the pH balance of your vagina at a healthy level to control the balance of vaginal flora. Your vulva is not self-cleaning, however all it ever needs is plain water to wash with, and use your hands to wipe between your labia to clean away any dead cells, old discharge or dirt. Anything chemical near your vagina can cause serious problems, it will effect the natural pH of your vagina in turn effecting the balance of the vaginal flora - in other words the 'bad' bacteria can take over from the 'good' bacteria leading to infection, which could also make your vagina smell bad and increase discharge. Soaps or washes can also not tell the difference between the 'good' healthy bacteria and the 'bad' bacteria, it will kill off all bacteria which causes more harm than good. This is also true of so-called 'feminine' products, they exist purely to play on women's insecurities about vaginal scent and attempt to suggest vagina's should smell like flower as a means of conning women out of their money, just like anything else chemical these products aren't good for vaginal health.
If you feel that you are not washing yourself well enough then it is purely mental, you need to get over the idea that you need to use products like these around that area and be secure in the knoweldge that your vagina is self-cleaning....in fact as a result of this your vagina is actually cleaner than your mouth! Not only are you purposfully using products that are causing you discomfort but also products that could potentially cause a lot of problems for your vaginal health, simply you need to stop washing your genitals this way, just use water as that is all you ever need to stay clean. This isn't a problem that you have but something that could effect any woman, your vulva is made up of mucosa which is similar to skin only without the top protective layer so it is more sensitive and more likely to be irritated by chemicals - bear in mind too that many commercial brand toiletries contain ingredients such as sodium lauryl sulfate which are skin irritants (check the ingredients on the products you use and you will probably see this ingredient as well as other potentially irritating ingredients) - soaps will also dry the mucosa which can cause irritation and small splits in the surface leading to a burning sensation.
Your vagina should NEVER be put into contact with anything scented, ideally you should only ever use water as anything else could potentially cause infections. Your vagina is self-cleaning, the function of discharge is to flush out excess bacteria and dirt as well as to keep the pH balance of your vagina at a healthy level to control the balance of vaginal flora. Your vulva is not self-cleaning, however all it ever needs is plain water to wash with, and use your hands to wipe between your labia to clean away any dead cells, old discharge or dirt. Anything chemical near your vagina can cause serious problems, it will effect the natural pH of your vagina in turn effecting the balance of the vaginal flora - in other words the 'bad' bacteria can take over from the 'good' bacteria leading to infection, which could also make your vagina smell bad and increase discharge. Soaps or washes can also not tell the difference between the 'good' healthy bacteria and the 'bad' bacteria, it will kill off all bacteria which causes more harm than good. This is also true of so-called 'feminine' products, they exist purely to play on women's insecurities about vaginal scent and attempt to suggest vagina's should smell like flower as a means of conning women out of their money, just like anything else chemical these products aren't good for vaginal health.
If you feel that you are not washing yourself well enough then it is purely mental, you need to get over the idea that you need to use products like these around that area and be secure in the knoweldge that your vagina is self-cleaning....in fact as a result of this your vagina is actually cleaner than your mouth! Not only are you purposfully using products that are causing you discomfort but also products that could potentially cause a lot of problems for your vaginal health, simply you need to stop washing your genitals this way, just use water as that is all you ever need to stay clean. Hi, so recently i've been very interested on perfumes, so i started researching what are ingredients used commonly on perfumes and stuff, one ingredient i saw a lot was ';musk'; i researched on wikipedia about it, it comes from the gland of an animal, and it says in order to obtain it you have to kill the animal am i correct? so i thought there will be this huge controversy about it from animal lovers and i havent found any, why aren't there any protests against this? i read in wikipedia as well that Chanel no5 used cat glands to preserve the smell of the perfume and everyone(animal lovers) went crazy and protested against one sole perfume but Musk have been used for soo much time why arent there any protests or campaigns against it?Musk in perfumes?
Although musk is a widely used scent in perfumes, many brands and products use ';synthetic'; musk. They mimic the scent and don't require an animal to be killed - it's made purely from chemicals. This is the case for a lot of products, but I am assuming that it's hard to tell whether it's synthetic or not. I am also assuming that more expensive perfumes and colonges contain real musk, opposed to synthetic. I've never had this problem though, because I think the whole musk scent is gross.
Also, this is an issue that vegans would probably have to deal with, since genuine musk is obviously an animal product. As for your question as why there aren't a trillion campaigns and protests against it - there are many more widespread issues that involve more severe cruelty and suffering. I have no doubt that if an animal activist could possibly address every single animal-related issue in the world, they would. But since a person can only be stretched so far, it's unfortunate that we need to pick and choose our fights. For example, I'm heavily involved in the anti-seal hunt campaign and exotic wildlife trade campaigns. They are the campaigns and protests that I participate in the most. However, my lifestyle reflects other ways that I help animals - ie. I would never purchase genuine musk perfumes (if I liked the scent), I don't wear fur or leather, I'm a vegetarian, etc.
Also note that synthetic musks are harmful to the environment. So, just don't purchase products that contain genuine or synthetic musks.Musk in perfumes?

I like sweeter scents. Candy-like scents that are strong, but subtle. That probably doesn't make any sense...Scents that are more natural and scents that you come across more often. Ones that aren't totally overwhelming. I LOVE Jessica Simpson's Fancy. It's strong, but it's got a calming type of scent. I haven't tried Fancy Love...and I'd love to know how her two scents are different.

Which perfumes layer well together?
I have been desperately searching for a new signature scent for myself after wearing one perfume for 3 years and I realized that I wanted a perfume that no one else had and that would be totally unique because I don't want to smell like everyone else. So I was thinking about layering perfumes, like I wouldn't actually mix the two perfumes together but I would spray them both on one after the other. Or I would use the body lotion of one perfume and spray the other one on afterward.
I wanted to see if anyone could suggest two perfumes that would smell nice together. I also really like Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture which I just bought, and I know a lot of people have this perfume so if anyone knows another perfume or scent that would work well with that, it'd be perfect.Which perfumes layer well together?

I tell you to get Certain Dri. You will never sweat from your underarms, hands, or feet. Eliminates all odor. Has no smell. Has no residue so it does not stain your clothes at all. It is a roll on you can get at any drug store in the anti-perspirant section. You put it on at night. Go to sleep. Wake up and take a shower. The residue of the deoderant is gone, but you don't sweat or smell at all for a couple of days. And when I say you don't sweat or smell I mean it. I go to the gym and my shirt gets soaked except for under the arms. When you find the one, you'll know, but then again, you might not find it.
One girl I was with loved the perfume called Poison. It's become fairly cheap, but her body smelled intoxicating in it. But if you're a really skinny muscle girl, I wouldn't recommend it. You must find your own.

Personally, I love Glow by JLo - it's the scent of summer to me. However, the only thing I would say about it is that it is very ';coconutty'; and some people really can't stand coconut smells - I have actually had a few people refuse to sit in the room with me when I'm wearing it.

it's old, but i don't know how old. And it doesn't appear to be real gold. The front of the rounded locket reads Napoleon III Empereur 1855 with a raised face in the middle.

I've gotten tons of compliments on Luck You, and its really inexpensive. Its about $30 for a regular size bottle of perfume, a small lotion, and a cologne version of it(yes the cologne is also for women).
I'm also a big fan of Juicy Couture but its very pricey- about $60 for a normal bottle, theres another brand called Hot%26amp;Sassy (I know hooker name- so i take the label off the bottle) that smells just like it and it also about $30. Even the bottle is shaped exactly like the Juicy Couture one.
Another one I really like is Curious by Britney Spears- its more of a sexy scent. The bottles are pretty small but very pretty, and it smells great, theyre about $25 per bottle.

Oh! And you can only test a few perfumes at a time before your nose just gives up and they all start smelling the same!

One that is very good though that my sister bought me is L.A.M.B. It is a floral smell, not fake or overpowering at all. Its kind of a mix of spices and flowers. Its a really calming, nice smell. I definitely think you should get it, but then again I'm not sure what your girlfriend is into.

It is very much appreciated by those of us who are adversly affected.
